Welcome to The Little Wooden Sax Shop ...
Where your saxophone receives personalised care in my cosy log cabin workshop in the heart of West Yorkshire.
I am a saxophonist and trained woodwind repairer, having completed a Woodwind Foundation course with a focus on saxophone repair at the Trevor Head School of Musical Instrument Repair.
My workshop focuses on modern student and intermediate alto and tenor saxophones, where I provide careful servicing, maintenance and repair work with attention to detail.
My workshop is dedicated to modern student and intermediate alto and tenor saxophones, including popular models from Yamaha, Trevor James and Jupiter. By focusing on these instruments, I can provide careful, reliable servicing with the attention to detail they deserve.
At this stage, I specialise in alto and tenor saxophones and do not currently accept soprano, baritone or vintage instruments. Where possible, I am happy to recommend trusted repairers who may be better suited for those instruments.
Every saxophone that comes through the workshop is treated with care and patience. Whether you are a beginner, a developing player, or an experienced musician, my aim is to help your instrument perform reliably and comfortably.
The workshop itself is a little different — a quiet, welcoming space where instruments are repaired thoughtfully, with care and attention to detail.
For me, saxophone repair is not just about fixing problems; it is about helping players enjoy their instruments and get the best possible performance from them.
If you are looking for careful, personal saxophone repair with a craftsman’s approach, you are in the right place.
